80's Costume Concepts: Footwear

Shoes jumped into the bandwagon of fun through brightly lit colors and big designs. If you feel that it was just the clothing that gave flair to the fashion of the 80's, feel once more, simply because the shoes back then had been produced to complement every single piece of cloth draped in one's body as properly.

In the decade of excess, the selection of color was the most loved. Plain, and dark colored shoes had been stashed inside storage closets, and vividly developed shoes paraded the streets.

A lot of popular shoes in the 80's could be brought back now and they are listed here to satisfy your craving for fashion.

Jelly Shoes comes in a selection of colors - black or white, neon, pastels and of course glitters! These are perfectly worn with casual clothes such as shorts and t-shirts, miniskirts and tank tops, and cute summer dresses. These shoes are made from jelly rubber, a type of PVC rubber. Although it looks like jelly, where it naturally got its name, wearing it doesn't really feel like walking in soft, squirty jellies. Rather, they had been rather challenging and uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time.

Sneakers such as Keds, Converse, Reebok and Adidas were in a rage. These shoes had been developed in colorful patterns with matching colored shoelaces. Other people had been glittery, though some were even studded. Sneakers with straps had been also extremely well-known such as the Reebok Hightops.

At first, the readily available colors were just white and black, but simply because they had been in the 80's, colors such as blue, red, pink, and green had been in demand. They were basketball shoes but had been also a fashion statement in aerobics. But they weren't only worn for physical activities, also for casuals. These sneakers go well with denim skirts and tapered jeans.

And of course, what all women want. Pumps! These are identified in almost every woman's wardrobe and will never get out of style. Back in the 80's they were loud and paired with equally loud clothing. Shiny and neon pumps had been a match with diverse colored leggings. In fact, it goes nicely with virtually anything.

Pumps are for office clothes, party clothes, date night dresses, and casual afternoons, name it, and wear it! Just make sure that you've got the color proper, but properly, if you don't, who cares? As lengthy as you're enjoyable loving, which is exactly the point of glitz in the 80's.

Hurry, pick your shoes, jump out, and have fun!
